Fire commissioners

On his trip out to Tujunga today, Mayor Villaraigosa named three more fire commissioners: Jill Furillo, Southern California director of the California Nurses Association (and the Tujunga connection); administrative law judge Casimiro Tolentino; and Andrew Friedman, special advisor to Sheriff Lee Baca. The mayor previously appointed Genethia Hudley-Hayes and Delila Sotello to the citizen board that oversees the fire department. I notice in the release that the mayor's press office has come down on the "Angelino" side of the debate over how to spell the term for an inhabitant of Los Angeles. D.J. Waldie gave the other side recently here.
