What about the time capsule?
An angle raised by the Times' scheduled closing and sale of its Chatsworth printing plant: what happens to the time capsule that was buried under the floor amid great civic hoopla (by Valley standards) in 1984? At the time, the paper clearly planned to have a huge presence in the San Fernando Valley for a long while to come.
