Pets on the web

The Los Angeles Department of Animal Services—whose chief, Ed Boks, has a blog—has begun giving websites a little piece of code that will display a pitch to adopt specific pets that are available in city shelters. Like this:

LA Animal Services
Pet of the Day

Adopt a pet today!

It's customizable to areas of the city. Click to go to the animal's adoption page.
