Westwater's new gig

Westwater and Jim AlgerCityWatch is out with an extra edition on the weekend election of downtown activist Brady Westwater as chair of the Neighborhood Council Congress. Westwater (right, with vice chair Jim Alger) will lead the group of 40 neighborhood councils until elections next May. Westwater is president of the Downtown L.A. council and has a blog. Also elected: Luciana Dar, second vice-chair; Adrienne O’Neill, secretary; David Strouse, treasurer.
