Romer and Canter 'all but concede'

Bob Sipchen went to Sacramento for the show today and says that Supt. Roy Romer and Board of Education president Marlene Canter have given up trying to substantially alter the mayor's school package. Sipchen has bumped his Predict-o-Meter at the LAT School Me blog up to nearly 100%. Quoting:

Mayor Villaraigosa testified for AB 1381 today in the Senate Appropriations Comittee, where it probably will be voted out on Thursday. I outlined the general timeline for the week previously.
