Election talk

Among all the election roundups and wrapups that will come your way before Tuesday, this one sounds different. Saturday's "Deadline L.A." on KPFK will extend to an hour and preview the ballot with a panel from the mainstream (Robert Greene, L.A. Times editorial writer), the alternative (Dean Kuipers, CityBeat deputy editor) and the PR world (David Hamlin). In addition to the state and local races, they and hosts Barbara Osborn (Liberty Hill Foundation) and Howard Blume (L.A Times staff writer) will look at the election endorsements of the Times, Daily News and CityBeat. Saturday at noon, 90.7 FM.

Also: Patt Morrison has a pretty deep lineup on KPCC today too. The show adds an extra hour to run from 1 to 3 pm. First up is Measure H, the city's massive housing bond, with Richard Close (secession leader and president of the Sherman Oaks Homeowners Association) on the No side and councilwoman Wendy Greuel on the Yes side.
