Even before seeing these dozen graphs at NewsDesigner.com, you knew that the odds of the L.A. Times' front page redesign helping stem the circulation slide were long. As someone asks at ND.com, when was the last newspaper redesign that actually added content readers wanted? Hard not to notice, though, that papers did pick up circulation after going tabloid — but only in Britain.
