KFWB and City News Service are reporting that Thomas Mauk, who the Board of Supervisors announced yesterday had accepted the job of chief administrative officer of Los Angeles County, has decided to stay at his old job in Orange County. No, that's not embarrassing at all to the Supes (or to him.) This morning's Register reported that Mauk would get a counter-offer from OC officials.
