Obama campaign not so local

The press release for this evening's Occidental College rally for former student Barack Obama uses the familiar nickname Oxy just like the locals do — but spells it Occi as in "Occi Students Get Ready for Obama Rally." Groan. You'd think someone would have noticed the web address that is right there in the release: www.oxy.edu.

Obama is here for a couple of rallies, by the way. Tomorrow's is at the Rancho Cienega Sports Complex on Rodeo Road — what do you want to bet the campaign will be telling media types it's on Ro-DAY-oh Drive.
