JohnsonLast year's L.A. Times publisher, Jeffrey Johnson, has a taken an executive post where he will oversee media interests for Ron Burkle's Yucaipa Cos. Burkle, through Yucaipa, joined with Eli Broad recently to make an offer for the LAT's parent Tribune Company. Johnson's responsibilities at Yucaipa will include former Vice President Al Gore's Current TV and Source Interlink.
