Why editors always beat robots

LAT screen grabOK, the Times claims to be getting religion about local coverage, but this isn't what the focus groups had in mind. Sunday's fashion story in the Image section on downtown's denim designers found an unusual home on LATimes.com: under the religion news tab. That's because one of the jeans makers that used to be in the Toy Company Lofts on Industrial Street is True Religion Brand Jeans.
