Fujioka lands at county

Former Los Angeles city administrative officer William Fujioka, 55, was hired today by the Board of Supervisors as the county’s chief executive officer, at an annual salary of $310,000. He replaces David Janssen, who retires this month. Remember, the Supes tried to hire Thomas Mauk away from Orange County in January, but after taking the job he got cold feet (and a sweeter deal) and stayed in OC.
