Dear Kevin,

We've been thinking it over here in the main office of LA Observed and we're taking the site in a new direction. Less LAT and more TMZ. Maybe throw in some gardening tips, a martini recipe and a few pet pix. Why should you have all the fun? Erika, Bill, Jenny Burman, Eric, Jacob and David Rensin will likely post. Mark, Denise, Deanne, David Davis, TJ, Bob and Jenny Price might weigh in, too.

So please, no internet cafes as you eat and drink and nap your way through the next two weeks. And no complaining when you get home. Remember, you asked for it.
