Said with a straight face

Announcing today's return of the Los Angeles Times Magazine name, the front page note in the Times reads:

The magazine will offer a richer and more substantial report on the people, places, objects and ideas that matter in a changing Southern California. This month's Home Design issue is devoted to the Baja beach house boom.

I'm sure we at LA Observed speak for all Angelenos in expressing our glee that the magazine has become more substantial about ideas that matter.
