Lantos won't run for reelection

Democratic Rep. Tom Lantos announced today he has cancer of the esophagus and will leave Congress at the end of his term. Lantos, who represents the Bay Area, has been in office for 14 terms and is chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
