City Councilman Richard Alarcon and his wife, Flora Alarcon, welcomed Camilla Isabella Alarcon into the world this morning. She was born at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills and weighed 6 lbs, 15 ounces. Of course, the father couldn't let the opportunity pass, issuing a statement that says in part, "Camilla Isabella gives me one more reason to do all that I can as a City Councilmember to ensure the safety, health and well-being of our community. It is our children that will live with the choices that we make and the opportunities we create in Los Angeles and I intend to continue to work to create a brighter future for all Angelenos, including Camilla."
