More signs of the (new) Times

Jacket Copy, the blog written by the staff of the L.A. Times' books section, today added a new voice: Carolyn Kellogg's. She is the former editor of LAist who left for graduate school in Pennsylvania and who blogs at Pinky's Paperhaus. Kellogg has been reviewing books for the paper recently. Her first post at Jacket Copy references Diablo Cody and Laura Albert in a riff on pen names.

They learn fast: Since the newsroom's highest-ranking online booster was named editor of the Times, whoever keeps the staff roster updated on the Web has re-ordered it to list the "Online Edition" team at the top, above the "Print Edition" staff.
