Teddy Kennedy feted on El Piolin **

The most popular radio host in Los Angeles — and probably the nation — gave Sen. Edward Kennedy the royal treatment this yesterday morning, before Kennedy's pro-Obama appearance in East Los Angeles today. Al Giordano blogs his notes of the show, in which Kennedy talked up Obama to the heavily Latino audience, and Daily Kos calls it possibly "game changing" in California on Super Tuesday.

* Also today: The Service Employees International Union switched to Obama after earlier endorsing John Edwards for president. LAT

And: McCain's jokes last night on Jay Leno, and Rudy Giuliani's walk-on. Top of the Ticket

** Late add: Kennedy and Sen. Dianne Feinstein are interviewed today on "Patt Morrison," which airs from 1 pm to 3 pm on KPCC.
