Gavin Newsom on prowl in Sacramento

Newsom, one of the California mayors who might run for governor in 2010, said today in the state capital that it's "wildly premature" to consider running but added he "surely will consider running" if he could "add value" to the contest. The Sacramento Bee plays that as Newsom showing interest.
