Las Lomas work voted down

The Los Angeles City Council voted 10-5 this morning to stop work on the annexation application of the heavily lobbied Las Lomas project in Newhall Pass. Rick Orlov and Kerry Cavanugh live-blogged the scene and the vote at The Sausage Factory, though the final tally lags behind a bit. It's on the paper's blog home page, but not yet on the blog itself. Apparently the DN tech system and blogging process builds in a delay that can run 15 minutes or more.

Tech help on the way? MediaNews just hired a new chief of interactive. Romenesko
