NYT

An LA Observed reader emailed to alert me to the big news out of the Federal Reserve and to wonder why his hometown paper wasn't on it:

Lead story on both the NY Times and Wash Post Web sites at 8:40 Sunday night is the huge intervention by the Fed. Enormous story. Been on both sites for more than an hour. No mention on the LA Times. Zero. Just woeful. But they do give big play to an HBO executive leaving! Thought they were ramping up their Web site. Guess not.

The LAT folded the news into its Bear Stearns story. Above is the NYT (bigger). After the jump, screengrabs of the other two websites as of 9 pm.
