Marcus Allen walks away *

Under fire for his ties to lobbyists Arnie Berghoff and Harvey Englander, former Villaraigosa deputy Marcus Allen withdrew his name from consideration for the job of city administrative officer. He cited "personal and professional reasons." David Zahniser will have a story tomorrow and fed an item to the LAT's news blog.
