Cease-fire at City Hall

At the urging of the City Council, City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo agreed to suspend his lawsuit against Controller Laura Chick and she agreed to suspend her review of his office until the jurisdictional issues can be reviewed and possibly put to a public vote. "We need our elected officials to act like adults and to be adults, and so we're trying to step in and provide that responsibility to the voters," Council President Eric Garcetti said. LAT, DN
