Gawker has posted a whole bunch of excerpts from the Washington, D.C. case that led to a restraining order against former L.A. Times rising star Andrés Martinez. OK, he's a jealous guy. But if the affidavits entered are accurate, he seems more deeply disturbed — calling the mother of ex-girlfriend Kelly Mullens a whore? Discussing his suicide? It all adds urgency to the question being asked around town since we posted on this mess yesterday afternoon: what could Martinez possibly hope to gain by suing Mullens and bringing all this out in the open?
