Bratton tapes robocall for Obama

LAPD chief William Bratton's phone message for Barack Obama "challenged Republican John McCain's 'record on policing issues and extolled Obama's,'" he told the L.A. Times. Bratton said he got involved after Rudy Giuliani (Bratton's former rival in New York) taped a message for McCain that is critical of Obama.

Add politics: Darryl Ryan, a press aide to Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, left City Hall today to become Director of Media Relations for Time Warner.
