The former City Hall power broker and commissioner was sentenced today to state prison in connection with the pay-to-play scandal during the Jim Hahn years. In particular, Wong carried water for Evergreen Marine, which wanted a sweet deal with the Port of Los Angeles."There's nothing honest about the defendant's relationship with Evergreen," said Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Johnson.
