Becerra not going to be trade rep

Pilar Marrero at La Opinión reports that Rep. Xavier Becerra pulled his name from consideration as U.S. trade representative. Column en español. (And now in English, partially, at Politico.) So all those dreams of congressional fame and fortune on the Eastside have to be put away for another year.
