New campaign firm reaches across the aisle

Democratic and Republican consultants with a lot of experience in Los Angeles — and in California more generally — have formed a new firm to work on ballot measures. LFM Campaigns takes its name from Dem partners Chris Lehane and Mark Fabiani and their firm, Mercury Public Affairs, says Capitol Alert. The other players include two Reeps at Mercury, Adam Mendelsohn and Steve Schmidt, and Ace Smith, the Villaraigosa and Jerry Brown adviser who is helping the Jack Weiss campaign for City Attorney.
