
The New York Times has a series of nicely done Flash ads running on LATimes.com playing off the popularity of Obama coverage and offering, among another things, a "weekender" subscription — Friday through Sunday — for $3.45 weekly. The weekend ad lists several Sunday sections the Los Angeles Times can no longer match.
