Election is final, Measure B lost

It was a squeaker, but here's the final breakdown on Measure B, the solar energy jobs program pushed by the mayor, city council and the DWP union in the March 3 election:

Yes: 129,925 ... 49.5%
No: 132,569 ... 50.5%

Mayor Villaraigosa's final tally was 55.65% of the mayoral vote, with Walter Moore at 26.23%. Voter turnout within the city of Los Angeles was 17.9%. In this election, 37% of the ballots came in by mail. Here's the Certified Final Bulletin from the city clerk's office.
