LA Observed's TJ Sullivan was credentialed into President Obama's town hall this afternoon in Costa Mesa and sent along some photos. He'll have more later at his website. In the meantime, feel fortunate if you escaped the traffic snarl in the Century City area this evening from street closures that sure seemed presidential in nature. Yowza it sounded bad. Tomorrow's traffic plan is after the jump.

For Obama's appearance Thursday at the Miguel Contreras Learning Center, the LAPD is advising that from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the closures will include all streets south of Beverly Boulevard between Witmer and Beaudry streets; all streets east of Witmer Street between Beverly Boulevard and Fourth Street; all streets north of 4th Street between Witmer Street and the Harbor (110) Freeway; and all streets west of the freeway between 4th Street and Beverly Boulevard.
