City Controller Laura Chick will be leaving her job a little sooner than scheduled. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is naming her the state's inspector general, overseeing the billions of dollars in federal stimulus money headed for California. Rick Orlov says at the Daily News website that Chick will begin in the newly created post on April 27.
