Looks like the most action by Proposition 8 opponents will be at 6 pm Downtown at Pershing Square, 7 p.m. in West Hollywood at the corner of Santa Monica and San Vicente boulevards (that's the main media op rally), and also at 7 p.m. in Long Beach at Alamitos Avenue and Broadway. The announced rally in Westwood this afternoon was a bust, but there were about 100 people at the Registrar-Recorder's office in East Los Angeles. Also, LA Weekly staff writer Patrick Range McDonald and other gay rights activists are calling for protesters to gather outside President Obama's fundraising appearance tomorrow night at the Beverly Hilton.
