Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa dropped in Saturday at the opening of actress Melissa Joan Hart's store Sweet Harts in Sherman Oaks. He's getting a hug from Valley restaurant and real estate mogul Matt Epstein. Click to view bigger.

* And to Larchmont: Channel 4's website this afternoon posted a photo of Villaraigosa and Channel 5 anchor Lu Parker — a former Miss USA — at Chevalier's bookstore over the weekend. They acted friendly enough — Parker reportedly looked at a book about Kenya and said "we should buy it for our trip" — that the station suggests they may be romantically linked, but gets no confirmation. Ordinarily the Channel 4 website is not to be confused with KNBC News, but the photo appears to have come from KNBC assignment editor David Reese.
