Food

New food site

Former Los Angeles Times reporters are key players in Zester Daily, which bills itself as "the latest news and information from around the globe about all aspects of food and wine," from formerly employed or freelance journalists. Corie Brown, the former LAT wine writer and Hollywood reporter, is the co-founder and general manager. (She's also one of the plaintiffs in the class action suit against Sam Zell by Times staffers.) Other ex-LAT folks listed include longtime food writer Charles Perry, Lorenza Munoz and Mary Engel. There are a bunch of other Los Angeles contributors, plus Portland-based Nancy Rommelmann, who contributes here at Native Intelligence.
