Billboard settlement thrown out

Superior Court Judge Terry Green today ruled that the City Council's 2006 agreement that led to hundreds of new digital billboards all over the city was invalid because it exempted the digital billboard conversions from any zoning regulations and public hearings. The judge called his decision a "slam dunk." Summit Media had challenged the settlement because, basically, it left them out.
