HuffPost gears up in L.A.

Talk is of a Dec. 1 launch date for the Los Angeles edition of the Huffington Post, which has been interviewing for positions. Tina Daunt, laid off last month by the Los Angeles Times, posted on Facebook tonight that she will be joining the staff that day to work on the new edition. Billy Silverman, formerly of Imagine Entertainment, is listed as the site's Los Angeles editor.
