A former employee of the City Attorney's office is "a person of interest" in the investigation into how all deputy city attorneys received mailers claiming their boss, Carmen Trutanich, would attend a fundraiser for ex-City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo. David Berger, Trutanich’s special assistant, told the Metropolitan News-Enterprise that the ex-employee has not been charged with a crime and that the whole thing remains under investigation.

Add Met News: Trutanich was expected back at work on Wednesday after his hospital stint.
