'Complete scene of chaos' in Haiti

The Los Angeles Times has two photographers on the ground in Haiti: Carolyn Cole and Rick Loomis. I'm told that she got in over land from the Dominican Republic, Loomis with an aid flight from Florida. They're sending back some powerful images, such as Cole's above and in today's print paper. Loomis narrates an audio slideshow from a makeshift hospital at the Port-au-Prince airport on the Times' website.

At New York Times.com: Former L.A. Times editor Jane Bornemeier introduces a video report from the Port-Au-Prince airport by another LAT alum, Marc Lacey (now the NYT's Mexico City/Caribbean bureau chief.)
