cheffamilytree.jpg
Pretty clever use of Flash by the folks at dineLA. As part of the upcoming Restaurant Weeks (Jan. 24-29 and Jan. 31 - Feb. 5), they have posted an interactive "family tree" where you can trace the kitchen lineage of a few dozen Los Angeles area chefs. Just run your cursor over a name. Here's the list of eateries participating in the dineLA promotion this time.

Opus closed: The latest upscale place to try the old Atlas Bar and Grill location in the Pellissier Building at Wilshire/Western is gone. Novel Cafe is coming.
