Staff shifts at the L.A. Times

New assignments have been posted for assistant Metro editor Stephanie Chavez (to assistant national editor), music editor Gina McIntyre (to deputy film editor), technology reporter Alex Pham (to the "arts and entertainment group" to cover digital entertainment and the cultural impact of new media) and national staffer Kate Linthicum (to Metro as a reporter for the part of L.A. "that starts at Echo Park and heads west out toward the beach." The Times' Readers' Representative blog has details.

Also: As expected, formker Daily News columnist Steve Dilbeck is the Times' new Dodgers blogger.
