Original Pinkberry (the one in WeHo) closes

pinkberry-wehonews.jpgThe little shop on Huntley Drive where you or someone you know probably lined up for tart yogurt-like icy stuff — and possibly earned a parking ticket or two — closed on Monday. The international Pinkberry conspiracy started just off Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood in 2005 — it only seems like much longer ago. A bunch of the older Pinkberry's have been shutting down, but location #1 will become an administrative space for the company, says WeHo News. At one time, the city of West Hollywood "was issuing hundreds of parking tickets a month and collecting tens of thousands of dollars in fines and fees because of rampant double, illegal parking, not to mention traffic violations," says the site.
