Kamala Harris to meet the media in L.A. on Tuesday *

Kamala Harris will take her victory lap on Tuesday with "a major announcement regarding the race for California Attorney General." She plans to hit the Biltmore here in the morning before an afternoon press conference and victory party at the Delancey Street Foundation in San Francisco. Steve Cooley conceded in the race last week after the counting of late votes showed he would not win.

* Monday afternoon update: Harris' lead in the count jumped out to 71,566 in the Secretary of State's post-holiday update.
