Coming home? The Grapevine is closed

It figures that on the last day to get back in town for many Angelenos, Interstate 5 is closed by snow over The Grapevine. The highway is closed in both directions. If you're coming from the north, you might still have time to cross over to U.S. 101 or take the Bakersfield to Mojave to Highway 14 work-around. If that's open: it's snowing all the way down in Santa Clarita. Photographic evidence from my sister.
