It's a McClintock versus Sherman kind of day

capitol-small-kcrw.jpgWith Congress reconvening under new leadership, both KPCC's Airtalk (in the morning) and KCRW's Which Way, L.A.? (coming up at 7 p.m.) today featured Republican Tom McClintock of Northern California and Democrat Brad Sherman from the Valley going at it. Warren Olney's show tonight on KCRW will also include Democrat Henry Waxman, as well as a more nationally focused panel made up of Washington Post reporter Philip Rucker, Slate's David Weigel, American Spectator associate editor James Antle, Brookings Institution senior fellow E.J. Dionne and Norm Ornstein, congressional scholar at the American Enterprise Institute.

Also on WWLA: Schwarznegger and the Esteban Nunez sentence, in the Reporter's Notebook segment at 7:27 p.m.
