A little Papaya King, a little Wahoo

papayaking-kpcc.jpgThey had a really good lineup of stories on Saturday's Off-Ramp on KPCC: Papaya King vs. Pink's with a taste test, a visit to Lotusland in Santa Barbara and to Al-Salaam Polleria (an Islamic butcher shop in East Los Angeles), and an interview with overweight nude model/actor Michael Q Schmidt.

Also: Host John Rabe is looking for info on Wahoo, the former stop on the map along the original railroad tracks to cross the Valley, connecting Los Angeles with San Fernando (and later the rest of California.) I've picked on Google Maps before for including Wahoo, Calif. on its products.
