Metro board approves subway's environmental report, station at LACMA

The Metro board of directors today certified the Westside Subway Extension’s Final Environmental Impact Statement/Report, approving the route and station locations for the first phase out to La Cienega Boulevard. The Beverly Hills route and station location
were dodged for now, pending a public hearing. The Fairfax station will include the disputed entrance across the street from LACMA at the corner of Orange Grove Avenue.
