MTA board approves subway tunnel under Beverly Hills High

westside-subway-logo.jpgWhat was mostly at stake today was where to put the Century City station — the MTA board stayed with Constellation Avenue and Avenue of the Stars, inside the development. That means the tunnel will pass under Beverly Hills High School, over the objections of the city of Beverly Hills and the Beverly Hills Unified School District. The BH folks threatened lawsuits.
