Behind the scenes at Guelaguetza

emilia-mateo-guelaguetza-sonicid.jpgSonic Trace, a radio storytelling project from KCRW and Localore — which is a nationwide initiative of the Association of Independents in Radio and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting — spent a morning talking to servers and other staff at Restaurante Guelaguetza before the venerable (and much written about) Oaxacan eatery in Koreatown opened for the day. The project
"begins in the heart of Los Angeles and crosses into Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras." Here's the Sonic Trace Facebook page and more photos from the restaurant.
