On that House of Detox

The blogosphere strikes again. There is indeed a Malibu estate up for sale, but it's not Renaissance Malibu, the posh alcohol and drug treatment center. It's Villa Versailles, which was built in 1992 and apparently was lived in for one weekend (too far from the city for the owners). Since then, it's been rented out for parties, movie shoots and the like. It was also rented out as a rehab center/wellness center, which is probably how the confusion got started. Anyway, it does have 10 bedrooms, 11-baths, pool, tennis court, fruit orchard, horse stables, and the walls could still tell a lot 'o stories. Asking price: $23.75 million.
